Refund Eligibility

You are eligible for a full refund if you meet ALL of the following conditions:

  1. ✓ You request the refund within 48 hours of purchase
  2. ✓ You have not started any exam in the course
  3. ✓ You have not downloaded or used your completion certificate

To request a refund: Contact us at support@safedriverpro.com with your order number and registered email address.

✅ Insurance Certificate Not Accepted

You are eligible for a full refund if:

  • Your insurance company does not accept our completion certificate
  • You provide documentation from your insurance company stating the certificate was not accepted
  • You request the refund within 90 days of course completion

This protection ensures you're not paying for a course that doesn't meet your insurance company's requirements.

To request this refund: Contact us with:

  • Your completion certificate
  • Documentation from your insurance company (email, letter, or screenshot) showing the certificate was not accepted
  • Your order number

When Refunds Are NOT Available

❌ No Refund After Exam Started

Once you start any exam in the course:

  • A course credit is used
  • Course materials have been accessed
  • No refund can be issued

Why? Starting an exam means you've consumed the educational content and testing resources, which represent the core value of our service.

❌ Other Non-Refundable Situations

Refunds are not available if:

  • More than 48 hours have passed since purchase (unless insurance certificate exception applies)
  • You've completed the course and received your certificate
  • You provided incorrect information that prevented certificate acceptance (wrong name, license number, etc.)
  • Your request is based on failing to complete the course within the allowed timeframe
  • Technical issues on your end prevented course completion (incompatible device, internet connectivity issues, etc.)

How Refunds Are Processed

Refund Timeline

  • Approval: We review refund requests within 1-2 business days
  • Processing: Approved refunds are processed within 5-7 business days
  • Receipt: Refunds appear in your account within 7-10 business days, depending on your bank

Refund Method

  • All refunds are issued to the original payment method used for purchase
  • We cannot issue refunds to a different payment method or account

Processing Fee

  • No processing fees are deducted from approved refunds
  • You will receive a full refund of the amount paid

Special Circumstances

Court-Ordered or Mandatory Courses

If you were court-ordered or required to take a defensive driving course:

  • Verify our course is accepted by your court/jurisdiction BEFORE purchasing
  • We cannot issue refunds if you discover after purchase that your court does not accept our course
  • Exception: The insurance certificate acceptance guarantee still applies

Technical Issues on Our End

If you experience technical issues that prevent you from accessing or completing the course due to problems with our platform:

  • Contact us immediately so we can resolve the issue
  • If we cannot resolve the issue, you may be eligible for a refund regardless of exam status
  • We will make every reasonable effort to fix technical problems before issuing a refund

State Approval Changes

If our course loses state approval after your purchase but before your completion:

  • You will receive a full refund automatically
  • We will notify all affected customers immediately

Course Transfers and Credits

Transferring to Another Course

Instead of a refund, you may be eligible to transfer your purchase to a different course offering:

  • Must request within 48 hours of purchase
  • Only available if you haven't started any exams
  • Subject to price differences (you may need to pay additional fees or receive credit)

Account Credits

In some circumstances, we may offer an account credit instead of a refund:

  • Credits can be used toward future course purchases
  • Credits do not expire
  • Credits are non-transferable

How to Request a Refund

Step 3: Refund Decision

You'll receive an email with:

  • Approval or denial of your refund request

  • Expected refund timeline (if approved)
  • Alternative options (if applicable)

Step 4: Refund Processed

If approved:

  • Refund is processed to your original payment method
  • You'll receive a confirmation email
  • Access to the course will be revoked

Refund Denials and Appeals

If your refund request is denied:

  • We'll provide a clear explanation why
  • You may appeal the decision by providing additional information
  • Appeals are reviewed by a senior team member
  • Final decisions are made within 3-5 business days
